Wikono releases the first images of the accident in Santiago

7 August, 2013

Only 30 minutes after the derailment, Wikono releases the first images.

Wikono, an agency specialized in professional services for television platforms and in the management of ENG coverage, became the leading information provider covering the train accident that took place in Santiago on 24 July.
Only 30 minutes after the derailment, Wikono started to deliver the first images to all Spanish TV channels and to several foreign TV platforms, as well as to international agencies, such as APTN and Reuters.

In fact, those TV channels that interrupted their programming and subsequently opened their news programs with the newscast of the disaster used the images taken by the agency’s teams that had travelled to the scene.
Since July 24, Wikono has sent over 15 teams to cover the related news and their consequences.
