
Secuoya is confirmed as the major provider of services for regional television in the country
Grupo Secuoya has won the tender for the Asturian regional public television and radio channel (TPA) for operational and technical maintenance services at its premises: continuity, central control and maintenance. Through a joint venture lead by the group’s companies, B&S Corporation and BGL together with Videoimagen TV Asturias SL, Secuoya has been awarded the one-year contract, which is renewable for a further year.
The contract is worth an annual income of €605 000, and covers the provision of technical operational services and maintenance of the Central Control, Continuity and mobile links, as well as the maintenance of technical equipment at Asturian regional TV and radio channels. The contract entails the integration of a total of 16 workers, who will work at the premises of the Asturian company. Through the joint venture of B&S, BGL and Videoimagen, Secuoya won the bid over Videoreport, which also bid for the tender.
Positioning in the regions
Secuoya has a positive track record in terms of achievements, commitment and solvency in the audiovisual sector at regional level that backs this project. The group holds contracts that are in force in the Canary Islands and shares in a company that provides similar comprehensive services to the regional television channel in the Balearic Islands, as well as in companies that provide services and specific content for other regional television channels, such as the local channels in Asturias, Castilla La Mancha and Aragon, and TVG, TV3 and Canal Sur, not to mention the national channels, Antena 3, TVE-1, La Sexta and Channel La 2. Grupo Secuoya is the largest provider of television services in Spain.
