The Group has signed a Collaboration Agreement with Fundación ATRESMEDIA in order to cooperate with the training and employment programs carried out by this organization.
Once again, Grupo Secuoya supports social service initiatives and programs based on qualified contribution for the most disadvantaged parts of society, such as the people with physical or intellectual impairment.
As part of this approach, Grupo Secuoya will make a financial contribution for Proyecto PRO, the audiovisual school for the disabled, which was created in the year 2010 by Fundación ATRESMEDIA in order to increase their opportunities of inclusion into the society and the labor market.
Limited training and education, social barriers and adaptation difficulties are some of the factors that have traditionally been linked to these special inclusion problems. With this support, Grupo Secuoya expresses its willingness to facilitate changes in this scenario for a population group that needs the involvement of foundations, companies and of the society as a whole.
Relevant members of the Senior Management Board of both entities were present in the signing ceremony, which was held in the headquarters of ATRESMEDIA Madrid some days ago: Mr Raúl Berdonés, Chairman of Grupo Secuoya, and Ms Carmen Bieger, Director of Fundación ATRESMEDIA.
With this Collaboration Agreement, both organizations wish to lay the foundations for their mutual cooperation through 2014 and for the interchange of knowledge, expertise and processes. They also want to promote projects that encourage the opportunities of inclusion into the society and the labor market of people with disabilities, as well as their normalization within the audiovisual media.
Furthermore, these two entities share a common goal that aims to promote activities and projects focused on supporting the positive social image of people with disabilities.
