On Friday October 30th, Murcia´s Professional Association of Telecommunications Engineers acknowledged Grupo Secuoya´s work as a leading company in the 2015 ICT Sector for its "commitment to technology."
The award, which was presented to the company´s president, Raul Berdones, is a recognition of the Group´s work at a national and international level, as well as at a local level, since Secuoya manages “7 Television Region de Murcia” since April. The regional channel´s team is mostly made up of professionals who were born and trained in the region.
Despite the short time frame, Grupo Secuoya has managed to provide the sector in Murcia with the necessary tools to be competitive. In just seven months, more than thirty Murcian producers are already working on the production of different regional programmes, generating almost 130 jobs.
This boost to the sector’s activity throughout the region, has also led to the creation of a team of 87 staff members at “7TV”. Additionally, the Group has been the driving force behind Murcia’s techonological advances. HD technology and the latest audiovisual technologies for the digital world places Murcia at the head of the sector.
