Tomorrow, Canal Sur and Secuoya Contenidos launch “Aquí, como en Casa”.

19 January, 2017

This is an original format by Secuoya Contenidos wherein four pairs, made up of one adult and one child must demonstrate how well they know each other. Presented by Miguel de Miguel, this is a family programme through and through: the contestants are related, the prize is designed to be enjoyed as a family, and the idea is that it brings everyone in front of the TV, together.

Do you think you know your child? That your grandfather doesn’t hide any secrets from you? Would you play an unforgettable family game to prove that you are the family that is the most in tune? That’s what “Aquí en Casa”, the new venture by Canal Sur, set for prime-time on Fridays, is all about. In the hands of Secuoya Contenidos, several pairs made up of an adult and a child are put to the test, to find out the level of knowledge and connection that exists between them.

At one of its most popular time slots (Friday, prime time), the independent Andalusian channel has placed its trust in Secuoya Contenidos in an original format that, each week, instigates four pairs to measure their affinity through fun games. Over the course of six rounds, each with increasing difficulty, contestants are eliminated. Grandparents, nieces and nephews, parents and godchildren…will all have to show what they know through fun, informal tests requiring them to draw, solve riddles, spell, guess and, above all, demonstrate the level of their affinity. Traditional games that seek to generate moments of love and sympathy designed for Friday night entertainment. Presented by Miguel de Miguel, one of the most beloved faces of Andalusian television, “Aquí como en Casa” is a family contest on all four sides: the participants have to be related, the prize is designed to be enjoyed as a family, and it is a content designed to bring everyone together in front of the television at home. It is not a talent contest nor oriented towards the development of physical tests: with our contestants we are going to play a game to find out just how well they know each other. The winning pair will be rewarded with an unforgettable holiday to enjoy with their family.

Secuoya Contenidos reinforces its position for 2017 with, “Aquí como en Casa”, which is part of Grupo Secuoya’s ambitious new strategy to strengthen its content area. With one of the industry’s most solid and professional reference teams, Secuoya Contenidos have begun the quarter with four simultaneous productions for different chains (independent and national), in addition to having licensed five international formats to adapt them to the Spanish market.
