La mezcla de la experiencia de nuestros partners con lo que representa CBM (Grupo Secuoya) en lo audiovisual son los ejes de un proyecto que ofrece las garantías exigidas
Deloitte, Ericsson, Price Waterhouse, Cellnex, Barlovento and My Way have contributed towards the preparation of these two balanced, plural, realistic and forward-looking projects.
A family channel and another addressed to children, with special attention to children ranging from 8 to 12 years, are the centrepiece of the Group to qualify for the two licences..
Today and within the established time-scale, Secuoya, through its subsidiary Central Broadcaster Media (CBM), has submitted its application for the two DTTV licences, one of them a standard SD channel and the other High Definition, together with two bank guarantees of 12 million Euro, for the public tender called by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism for the awarding of the new freeview channels approved by the Government.
Secuoya presents a balanced, realistic and forward-looking television offering. “Our contents are plural, integrating, independent, educational, useful and, created mainly in Spain, aimed at encouraging the sale of tested Spanish formats on our televisions abroad”.
CBM’s proposal represents an audio-visual platform that aspires to launch products made in our country, with the acceptance among viewers. In the proposal presented today, the Secuoya Group has assembled an unbeatable group of partners, true professionals in each of their respective fields. The engineering design backed by Ericcsson; the legal commitment represented by Deloitte; the strength of our business plan by Price Waterhouse; the secure signal transport in the hands of Cellnex; the efficient viewer reations follow-up and the evolution of the television market with Barlovento Comunicación; and My Way (a specialised marketing compnay in communication media) together with the work of the best professionals of the sector, constant and realist, is the best way of guaranteeing compliance with our objectives.
In the offer submitted, for a family channel and a children’s channel, the proposal is bold but centred. The channels we propose will not remain in mere pragmatism. The commitment is to contribute towards a market niche that we believe has not been entirely addressed by the rest of operators. We seek a contemporary design both in concept and format. The most innovative technological development of the channels and their programmes, added to our carefully selected contents are the basis to never disappoint the target audience to whom they are addressed: family and children and youth, respectively.
Recommended for everyone
On the family channel, Secuoya intends on getting the whole family in front of the television with products that do not exclude any segment and that encourage diversity, education and entertainment with television programmes and digital developments arising therefrom. The channels programming grid does not exclude, it integrates: a list of programmes recommended for everyone that strives to gather the whole family in front of the TV. The variety has been designed bearing in mind the needs and commitment of ensuring a complete, secure and accessible channel, 24 hours a day. It is not a matter of dodging children protection timetables, but to increase them.
For the children’s channel, Secuoya’s proposal shall give special attention to children between 8 to 12 years old. Despite this channel offering content for all children (from 4 to 12 years of age), with the incorporation of programming blocks targeted at different age groups within this range, this channel finds it main purpose in the older children.
Thus, the new children’s genre will have a place in Spain and a commitment towards the real world and a close relationship with today, enhanced with interactivity. In-house fiction production, large stage games or a container programme serving as a backbone for the entire grid are some of their distinguishing features. As far as entertainment is concerned, the channel offers a starting point set apart from that of other channels with the same target market, offering products in their original version and with a clear commitment to development and innovation of the national audio-visual market. The creation of the Spectators’ Ombudsman (the Ombudsman for Minors in the case of children’s channel) present from the channel’s outset is not a coincidence. The role of Advisory Board that will ensure our ultimate goal is also a guarantee of compliance. The television market, consumer habits and the use of new tools require agile and dynamic operators -two of the most representative values of the Secuoya Group of which we form part.
In short, the combination of the expertise of our partners with what CBM (Secuoya Group represents in audio-visual terms are the cornerstones of a project that offers the required guarantees. Responsibility, pluralism, commitment, independence, Spanish industry and solvency are some of the attributes that define the offer we present.
