
On October 17th, the 7 Television Region de Murcia, organizes an event in which future and present projects of sustainable development are exposed
7 Televisión Región de Murcia, is undertaking a cross-cutting initiative to highlight the present and future projects of civil society in the Region of Murcia with the aim of achieving sustainable development. The first action of this initiative is the organization and celebration of the Forum “Committed. For a Sustainable Region of Murcia”, which will take place in the Regional Archive (Murcia), on October 17th, from 9:30h to 13:30h.
More than a dozen experts from various fields will expose in this Forum, their ideas and projects around the circular economy, sustainable development, renewable energy and the fight against climate change. The Forum will cover during a whole day the major areas that comprise such an important issue as sustainability and corporate responsibility. It will be through the presentation of many case studies in which companies will show us the application of these criteria.
Among the speakers, we would like to highlight the Antena 3 News meteorologist Mercedes Martin, graduated in Oceanography and activist against climate change, Patricia Reina, activist and author of ‘Living without Plastic’, and Rafael González, General Director of Renewable Energy in Endesa, among others.
To this cast of experts will join managers and directors of other companies such as Caixabank, University of Murcia, Estrella de Levante, Global Paris, Molina Hospital, Hidrogea, El Corte Inglés, Grupo Orenes, Sindicato Central de Regantes del Trasvase Tajo Segura (Scrats), Ayuntamiento de Murcia and Grupo Secuoya.
7TV’s commitment goes beyond the celebration of the event, since it also includes the live broadcast of the forum through the TV channel via streaming and the creation of the committed website comprometidos7tv.es where all the content related to the event will be shown and the dissemination of these contents in the channel’s news and entertainment programs.
In the course of the day, La7 will announce its commitment with the environment, through a battery of measures that will be developed from now on to contribute to the sustainable development of the Region of Murcia.
