After its prime time debut on TVE 1 and on premium on Movistar TV, “Víctor Ros” continues to reap success, now on the international scene. The series New Atlantis (The Secuoya Group) has achieved its rite of passage at the World Media Festival of Hamburg by winning the Silver Globe in the Entertainment, Continuing Series & Serial Programs category.
With this prize, which will be presented this upcoming May 6th in a gala in Hamburg, the prestigious German festival has duly recognized the quality and interest of the series starring Carles Francino, Megan Montaner and Esmeralda Moya.
This prize corroborates the international fame surrounding the series as it has been sold in Italy and France.
Based on the novels with the same title by Jerónimo Tristante, “Victor Ros” illustrates Madrid at the end of the 19th century through the criminal cases that are solved by a police inspector ahead of his time. Directed by Carlos Navarro, Gracia Querejeta and Jorge Sanchez Cabezudo, with Javier Olivares as plot director, the six-part series was broadcast this winter on TVE 1 with an average audience share of 10.6% and more than 2.3 million viewers.
