“Comando Alfa”, the latest production of Imizu (Grupo Secuoya), has positioned itself as one of the favourite titles for the awards “Premios Luces 2014”, the country’s most important prizes in show business awarded by the newspaper “el Comercio”. The detective series has nominations for Best Local Production, as well as Best TV Actress for Stephanie Orue and a double nomination for Best Actor award to be disputed between Lucho Caceres and Miguel Iza, among other colleagues.
Since its first release, the Imizu series on “Frecuencia Latina” emerged as one of the audience’s favourite, reaching a turning point both in theme and treatment. Full of action and mystery, it stars a group of specialised agents who are responsible for solving the most complicated crimes and uncovering the truth behind unresolved cases that had been shelved. The awards are designated by online voting and will be announced this weekend.
