The video of Javier Zapata, a resident of Torre Pacheco, has been chosen to be broadcast on the regional channel on the upcoming 8-M
La7 already has a spot for the International Women’s Day. It is a project by Javier Zapata, a fourth-year student of Advertising and Public Relations at the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia. The project of this young man has been chosen among 22 proposals that participated in the contest organized by the regional channel.
The winning video has been chosen for its audiovisual quality and for being the one that best represents the values promoted by the International Women’s Day. This young man from Torre Pacheco wins 500 euros and the satisfaction of seeing his work broadcasted on the regional channel. The channel wants to thank all the participants in the contest for their enthusiasm and to recognize three finalists: Isabel Fernández and Bartolomé Muñoz, both students of Audiovisual at UCAM, and Celia da Casa, from the same degree at UM.
The jury has highlighted the high quality of the students’ work and congratulates all participants, who have shown that the audiovisual sector of the Region has a bright future. The vice-president of the Community, Isabel Franco, the director of La7, Antonio Peñarrubia, the publicist Jorge Martínez, as well as the director and director of this contest, Fernando Francés, have formed the jury that has decided the winner.
One of the priorities of the regional television is to be close to current affairs and the Murcian society. That is why this idea was born with the aim of strengthening the link between La7 and the new generations of audiovisual producers.
