On April 12 at 16:30, TVE’s sports channel Teledeporte will air the second edition of “Escuela de Campeones”, starring Marc Gené as Master of Ceremonies. The program is being produced for Banco Santander and for the Spanish Automobile Royal Federation. This new edition of “Escuela de Campeones” honours young drivers, who dream of taking part in Formula 1 one day. The main thread that runs through the program is Banco Santander’s scholarship known as “Young Promises”, but the show will focus above all on the effort and determination of the young aspiring professional drivers competing to win this scholarship. The show will cover how the first steps are taken, from a child’s first contact with a kart, to the development of Moises Soriano, winner of the previous scholarship and who already stands out in F3.
<pAdditionally, a group of 17 kids will visit Ferrari’s premises in Maranello (Italy), where the famous team put Moises Soriano to the test – quite a milestone for a young Santander scholarship holder, and a “temple” where very few television crews have been able to film.
“Escuela de Campeones” also goes further in depth and covers the day-to-day preparation involved for these karting drivers during karting competitions, and other everyday particularities of this field.
Produced by enminúscula
“Escuela de Campeones”, aired for the first time in February 2012 and was the production company’s first branded content production. Subsequently, TVE aired the docu-reality “Tenemos chico nuevo en la oficina”, also sponsored by Banco Santander and produced by a production company at Grupo Secuoya. This formula is increasingly used by brands in order to foster brand-consumer communication, and enminúscula uses this formula to design, produce and manage contents that link high quality content to prestigious brands.
