‘FAS’, the format that shows viewers the day-to-day experiences of the Spanish Armed Forces, film their second season. Produced by RTVE in collaboration with Secuoya Contenidos and with the participation of the Ministry of Defence, this second cycle will be dedicated to the activity of the Spanish military in our country. Reporters María Pérez and Gorka Vallejo take on a more significant role, accompanying the military in their training, tests and daily tasks.
By land, sea and air. The ‘FAS’ team records in different locations: Hoyo de Manzanares, Fuencarral, El Goloso, San Javier, Granada, etc. The three armies, Air, Earth and Armada, will play a leading role in this second season.
Filmed in Granada, Murcia and Torrejón de Ardoz, programmes related to the Air Force will show how the acrobatic patrols of helicopters (Aspa Patrol), airplanes (Águilas Patrol) and parachutists (Papea Patrol) work. They will also visit air traffic control.
The chapters which are dedicated to the Earth Army will focus on three units: Leopard battle tanks, anti-aircraft missiles and the deactivation of explosives. And to reflect the activity of the Navy, reporters will board the strategic projection ship, Juan Carlos I. In addition, there will be special mention to the activity in the Navy and FLOAN (Navy Aircraft Fleet).
