Join the soldiers deployed in foreign missions, the contingent serving in Iraq to prevent the advancement of DAESH, the crew on the Galicia ship in the centre of a battle against piracy in the Indian Ocean and lastly, back in Spain, those that watch our airspace or intervene in major natural catastrophes. From February 2nd, we will follow the trail of the Spanish soldiers, minute by minute. We will know what they do 24 hours a day, 365 days a year thanks to “FAS MISIÓN EN”, the new factual documentary for TVE-1 by Secuoya Contenidos. With the same management team as “Policías en acción” [Police in action] and “Comandancias” [Command headquarters], the new factual documentary by Secuoya Contenidos puts the spotlight on the Spanish soldiers who bring us closer to the institution they form part of.
In “FAS MISIÓN EN”, we have even managed to get a sneak peak of the Armed Forces: the soldiers’ rooms, the line of fire, the cockpit of a fighter plane, a bunker, the gym, a Lynx vehicle, in the command post of a patrol boat, telephone boxes, an evacuation helicopter, the position of a sniper…
The new programme by TVE-1 showcases the soldiers, their missions, but also their emotions and feelings in eight chapters.
The team has accompanied soldiers in charge of watching over our territory on their day-to-day business, both by sea and by air. Our cameras have witnessed a boarding mission in the Tornado assault ship in waters off the Canary Islands, the launching of a missile in the Galerna submarine and a complicated refuelling manoeuvre in a Hercules plane and in the cockpit of a Eurofighter plane during an alarm.
With “FAS MISIÓN EN”, the audience will live the world of the Armed Forces and experience a soldier’s life: their work, their discipline, the risk and also, the emotions and feelings of the women and men that make up this institution.
