On Friday 4 October Castilla La Mancha regional TV channel will start broadcasting "La historia secreta de Castilla La Mancha" ("The secret history of Castilla La Mancha"). This TV series, produced by Pulso TV, will reveal the most unknown aspects and stories of the region through 18 programs.
“La historia secreta de Castilla La Mancha”, in docushow format, has been created with an educationa and cultural perspective in mind, in order to display the riches and hidden treasures of this region. It will also suggest interesting sightseeing routes that will unveil hidden spots, as well as common sites that can be observed from a new angle. Moments in history, such as the visit of President Jimmy Carter to a remote village of the region, the existence of prehistoric remains that usually go unnoticed by visitors, archaeological legends, and many more stories will awaken the spectator’s curiosity. These facts will also take the audience on a journey full of the most enigmatic and unexplored places of Castilla La Mancha. We often walk straight past certain “irrelevant” buildings, parks or spots, unaware that those very places might have witnessed amazing events, unrepeatable stories or historical personalities. The program puts the spotlight on those sites in Castilla La Mancha that have so far gone unnoticed, but where something worth telling happened at a specific point in time. “La historia secreta de Castilla La Mancha” is the second production of Pulso TV (Grupo Secuoya) for this regional TV channel after the debut, last summer, of the show “Mi otra gran boda”. With these programs, Pulso TV (owned by Grupo Secuoya) consolidates its presence in Castilla La Mancha and demonstrates its commitment to deliver contents related to local stories, but with a universal scope.
