José Romero, who has produced “Investigation Team” (“Equipo de investigación”) since the programme started, has been honoured with a diploma (in the press category) from the Civil Guard for his work as the journalist who heads the programme, broadcast on La Sexta.
This recognition was awarded yesterday on the occasion of the feast of the Virgen de Pilar, patron of the Civil Guard, in an official ceremony held at the Tres Cantos barracks. The ceremony was attended by the Lieutenant Colonel Acting Head of the Commandery of the Civil Guard of Madrid, as well as numerous national and local celebrities. Romero, who has been bringing the news to citizens for seven years through this programme by CBMEDIA, extended the recognition “to the more than fifty people that, together with presenter Gloria Serra, make this space possible”. With over 250 programmes behind it “Investigation Team” analyses in depth issues related to all aspects that concern public opinion, using the most extensive reporting as a vehicle to uncover all aspects of current affairs. With this diploma, the Civil Guard wanted to thank “the image that has not only reinforced, but improved, the treatment and affection” that has been shown to the Benemérita (Civil Guard) since the programme has aired.
