
The up until now General Director of Zeppelin TV will lead all of the audiovisual productions of the Group through the production companies Doble Filo, Pulso, and New Atlantis. With this incorporation, the company strengthens its position as a key production company in Spain and extends its presence in all content platforms. Grupo Secuoya strengthens its area of Content by bringing in Jaime Guerra as the person with maximum authority in the department.
Guerra, who until now held the position of General Director of Zeppelin TV, will be responsible for the Direction of Content to lead a strategic area within the Group, which is already an audiovisual reference with regard to Fiction and Entertainment through the production companies Doble Filo, Pulso and New Atlantis. The addition of Guerra, one of the great national audiovisual talents, will lead new projects that will strengthen the image of Secuoya Group as producer and intensify their presence in all content platforms.
A graduate in Journalism from the University Complutense in Madrid, Jaime Guerra holds a brilliant track record and has surged as one of the most relevant names in the field in Spain. He began his career as an editor for Telemadrid, to later work at Telecinco on programmes such as, “Este país necesita un repaso” and “Aquí no hay quien duerma”. Antena 3 forms part of the space with “Surprise, Surprise” (Sorpresa, sorpresa) “Ugly Duckling” (Patito feo) “Hoy de mañana” and “The Commons” (Los Comunes) by Jesús Hermida, among others. In 2000, Guerra joined Zeppelin TV as Programme Director, and later as Content Manager and executive producer of “Big Brother” (Gran Hermano), “GHVIP” “Home is Your Life” “Hell’s Kitchen” (Esta cocina es un infierno) “Fame” (Fama) “Let’s Dance!” (¡A bailar!) “The Box” (La Caja) “What Do You Know?” (Y tú qué sabes?) “The Children of Babel” (Los Hijos de Babel) and “Extreme Makeover” (Esta casa era una ruina) and has a long relationship of successful programmes in all of the general-interest channels. Since March 2011, Jaime Guerra took charge as General Director of Zeppelin TV, a job that he performed until he joined Secuoya.
For his part, the current Content Director of Secuoya Group, Jorge Sánchez Gallo, has moved on to become the General Director of New Businesses with the aim of diversifying and creating new lines of expansion for the Group, taking on a new responsibility which develops all of his professional skills. Jorge Sánchez Gallo will occupy this new role within the executive staff of the group, according to his position as shareholder and his wealth of experience over the course of one of the most extensive professional track records in the audiovisual sector, both on a national and international level. As a result of this expansion, Grupo Secuoya have decided to open new types of business, within the world of production and audiovisual services. The creation of this new department, that Jorge Sánchez Gallo will head, assures the development and diversification of the company. This new area is at the same level as the others which make up the structure of the company, (International Content, Services, Corporate, Television and Digital) under the authority of Pablo Jimeno.
With this new strategy, Grupo Secuoya heightens audiovisual production as one of the pillars of the company, in line with its new expansive policies and their business projections according to a business profile that places the company in the forefront of the sector.
