The Studio 1 of sound postproduction, becomes one of the few studios with this approval in Spain
Grupo Secuoya, through its service company Drago, takes a step forward in its consolidation as a reference in an industry which is in permanent evolution such as the Audiovisual sector. Among the latest additions, it is worth mentioning the Dolby Atmos Home certification of the sound postproduction Studio 1 which the company has located in Tres Cantos, which makes it one of the few with this homologation in Spain. This certification is in addition to Dolby Vision, which these facilities already have.
To undertake the installation and tuning, Drago has counted with the participation of companies such as BGL Audiovisual, Dolby Labs and SESAudio, the latter being in charge of the acoustic isolation and conditioning, planimetry, engineering and installation and maintenance of these audio systems and audiovisual workflow. Studio 1, equipped with Avid Pro Tools system, has an Avid S6 control surface of 24 channels, 7.2.4 Genelec monitoring system, with 8341A acoustic enclosures and 7380 subwoofer.
On the other hand, Studio 2, with identical equipment, is fully compatible, allowing maximum flexibility in optimizing workflows. It also maintains compatibility with Studio 3 for work in stereo and 5.1 formats.
In order to guarantee sound quality throughout the entire post-production chain and to overcome the demands of the rigorous quality controls of cinema and OTT platforms, the main color correction and mastering room has also been equipped with a Genelec 7.2.4 monitoring system; capable of reproducing content in all formats, including Dolby Atmos Home.
With this new certification, Drago postproduction studios have been able to exploit the full potential of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Home technologies, completing an integration that is practically unprecedented in our country.
