The casting is open to pairs made up of one adult and one child who are relatives, and who wish to demonstrate how well they know each other.
This week, candidates from two cities in Andalusia, Malaga and Seville, will get ready to compete in “Aquí como en casa”, Canal Sur’s new programme starting in January. This show, produced by Secuoya Contenidos, will test children and an adult relative, to see how in tune they are with each other(uncles, aunts and nephews, grandparents and grandchildren, father and son, godparents and godchildren …).
If you wish to participate, the programme has made a telephone number available (952440039) for adults to call and leave their personal information (name, age, telephone, address and persons who you wish to attend with), as well as an online app on comoencasa.canalsur.es, where aspiring candidates can upload videos introducing themselves. Having fulfilled this compulsory prerequisite, potential candidates will be invited to Malaga and Seville on the 28th and 29th of December respectively, to participate in the final selection of competing pairs (four for each episode).
Children between the age of 7 and 11 from all over Andalusia can participate, but there is one prerequisite: “we are looking for friendly, very expressive children, who are highly skilled in communication…they do not need to have any special talent: this is not a talent show and they are not going to sing nor dance; all they have to do is show how in tune they are with their game partner”, says the organisation.
The programme will start shooting over the next few weeks. It will be one of Canal Sur’s main prime-time programmes of the season.
About “Aquí como en casa”
Miguel de Miguel, one of Andalusian television’s most loved personalities, with whom spectators will celebrate New Year’s Eve on The 31st of December, will present the programme. “Aquí como en casa” is a full-blown family competition that aims to bring together the whole family in front of the box at home: participants must be relatives and the prize has been designed so as to be enjoyed by the whole family. It is not a talent show nor are there any physical tests: we are simply going to try and find out how well the pairing participants know each other. Each pair has to play traditional games, which will generate unforgettable moments full of friendship and laughter.
